A pilot leadership program being developed in cooperation between the Tällberg Foundation and the Swedish Postcode Lottery.

Stepping up in an interdependent and unpredictable world
New local visions for powerful change
Surely there is no more important task for now and for the future than to prepare emerging leaders. They will need to work across thresholds of difference, sustain their courage, build new capabilities and foster new relationships in a world not seen by previous generations.
Throughout 2012 the Tällberg Foundation, through a generous contribution from the Swedish Postcode Lottery, will design a program to prepare the next generation leaders in Nordic countries and selected southern African countries in transition and renewal, beginning with Rwanda and South Africa.
At the heart of this program will be an intent to bring about a shift in thinking and consciousness that can help rising, experienced leaders between 25 and 40 break through long held assumptions about how we frame our systems problem solving and what will be needed to overcome the stereotypes of developing and developed, lesser and more advanced, north and south. Delegates will be asked to exercise their systems thinking skills, to share their successes and their problem-solving approaches on the ground and to draw from the knowledge carefully selected faculty and readings.
In short, the focus of this experience will be to participate in the design of a program that will deepen their understanding of current challenges in their home regions and countries, and bring fresh perspectives that will compel them to act and engage with the world in new and dynamic ways.
