The Tällberg Forum 2006 took place from 28 June to 1 July 2006 in Tällberg, Sweden. Every year, 400 leaders and their families from all over the world and from various sectors of society gather in the small Swedish village of Tällberg to talk about and reflect upon the challenges and opportunities that stem from global interdependence.
The Tällberg Forum 2006 focused on the increased urgency brought to the question “How on earth can we live together?” by the challenge of reconciling the need for economic growth, with limited energy resources and the fragilities of the environment, while at the same time serving and advancing democracy, the rule of law and human rights.
