She Entrepreneurs is a new program by the Swedish Institute addressing young women social entrepreneurs in selected countries in the Middle East and North Africa: Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Morocco and West Bank–Gaza. During five days the participants will be provided with the tools needed to start or develop a social project for sustainable change in the participant’s country or region, during or after the program. During the Stockholm week, the participants will be matched with Swedish women who work actively as social entrepreneurs or business entrepreneurs. After the week in Stockholm, mentorship meetings will be held using digital platforms, such as Skype and Ning. The whole participant group will meet Swedish organizations and leading social entrepreneurs and business entrepreneurs. Six months after the Stockholm week, the participants will meet for a two-day follow-up for a status report from each social project.
