“Zero Silence- A documentary about the free wor(l)d” is a film about young people in the Middle East, their engagement for change and their use of social media to bring about change in their societites - before and during the “Arab spring” revolutions in 2011. The film is co-directed by Javeria Rizvi Kabani, and featuring among others Wael Abbas, both participants and contributors to the Tällberg Forum over the years.

Silence has been filmed from November 2009 to July 2011, and builds on over 100
hours of interviews with bloggers, activitists, artists, musicians, and young
people in the streets of Egypt, Tunisia and Lebanon. It is produced by Javeria
Rizvi Kabani, Alexandra Sandels, and Jonny von Wallström.
